The Primate Discovery Unit (PDU) is a project started by wildlife adventurer and primate specialist, Adam Thorn. The aim of the PDU is to investigate unknown primates by taking a more scientific approach. Our mission? To prove their existence.
Investigations include but are not limited to:
Field expeditions
Eyewitness statements
eDNA/DNA sampling & analysis
Information gathering by PDU members
Who We Are
If you have an interest in taking a more scientific approach to cryptozoology, becoming a PDU member may appeal to you. Having members from all around the world is extremely useful. It allows the PDU to use members to investigate cryptid primates in their area, thus contributing to the PDU’s collective data bank.
Members can:
Investigate cryptid apes in their area.
Submit reports on their findings, whether short term or long term investigations.
Contribute ideas or share their knowledge on the PDU Member’s Page.
Join a field expedition (upcoming expeditions will be announced).
Contribute anything they feel may be helpful.
Be a member of the PDU just out of curiosity and to follow our work.
Get Involved
Join the PDU for free and access the PDU community. Have your say, share ideas and submit your research.
